Minimal Invasiveness in Hip Arthroplasty

A two-day scientific course dedicated to the evolving role of minimally invasive techniques across the entire hip arthroplasty care pathway — from prosthetic infection management and fast-track protocols, to surgical approaches, prosthetic models, and the growing impact of navigation and robotics in Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA).
Across four scientific sessions, an international faculty of orthopedic surgeons will share state-of-the-art data, clinical experience, and live discussion on:

- Prosthetic infections: prevention and intraoperative management
- Fast-track models in hip arthroplasty
- Surgical approaches: anterior, modified anterior, posterolateral, lateral, and SuperPath
- Prosthetic models: resurfacing and short stems
- Navigation and robotics in THA

The course will also present the first results, projects, and programs of MOVEX Academy, followed by an operative panel meeting for the community's coordinators.
Accreditation: The event has been assigned 8 Italian CME Credits for Physicians (Orthopedics and Traumatology, Neurosurgery, Sports Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, General Practice, Radiology, Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery), Physiotherapists, Orthopedic Technicians, and Nurses.

Robotic surgery in knee arthroplasty

Robotic Surgery in Knee Arthroplasty is an advanced MOVEX Academy course focused on the clinical application of robotic technologies in knee arthroplasty, with a practical and multidisciplinary approach.
The program reviews the current state of the art in robotic knee surgery, preoperative planning, and key clinical applications in unicompartmental, total, and revision knee arthroplasty, discussing surgical techniques, outcomes, and critical issues. Specific sessions address the learning curve, fast-track pathways, economic sustainability, as well as medico-legal and ethical aspects.
The course also includes round tables on prosthetic joint infections and interactive “meet the experts” sessions, alongside industry presentations, providing a comprehensive overview of the available robotic systems and real-world clinical experience.
This course represents a high-level educational opportunity for orthopedic surgeons aiming to adopt robotic-assisted knee arthroplasty in daily clinical practice.
